Known Locations¶
Act 1 - The Vaunthel Commission¶
Everlund¶
The city where the party met Elaris Vaunthel and received the first mission of the campaign.
Known market notes: Everlund Shops
Moongleam Tower¶
Elaris Vaunthel's tower in Everlund. The party received lodging and mission briefings there, returned after escaping the Silent Coin Tavern, and left the recovered Coiled Coin in Elaris's care for controlled study.
Silent Coin Tavern¶
An abandoned roadside tavern in the Moonwood. It was aware, rule-bound, and dangerous. Once the party entered, the outside world vanished from sight and sound.
The party recovered the four pieces of the Coiled Coin, defeated the tavern's final guardian, and escaped through a hidden river passage as the building collapsed. Three days passed outside while the party experienced only a few hours within.
Brindleford¶
A battered settlement near Redmark Keep. The party reached it after crossing an open battlefield between gnolls and Red Banner forces. Its caravans are damaged, supplies are limited, and its defenders are struggling to keep the roads open.
The party found shelter and a safe long rest at The Bent Wheel. Local contacts described three approaches to Redmark Keep: the exposed Old North Road, the concealed Field Ditch Route, and the western Hunter Trail.
The party chose the Hunter Trail and successfully crossed it. They found an abandoned windmill on the ridge, then used the high ground to locate Redmark's forgotten Drainage Culvert.
The Bent Wheel¶
A quiet Brindleford inn run by locals who have watched the siege tighten around town. Old Brenn shares his knowledge beside its hearth. Leonidus found Rhaegar staying upstairs, and the party completed a safe long rest here.
Hunter Trail¶
An old path climbing the western ridge toward Redmark Keep. The party crossed its thorn ledges, loose shale, and falling-stone hazards, then fought three ogres attacking an abandoned windmill. From the ridge, they observed Redmark's western defenses and located the old runoff cut.
Redmark Drainage Culvert¶
A forgotten lower-water route beneath Redmark's western wall. The party opened its root-choked gate without alerting the surface patrols, crossed a sluice basin occupied by gelatinous cubes, and fought through a corpse-filled maintenance gallery.
The lower works connect to Redmark's old command infrastructure. A three-valve pressure mechanism opened the route to a broken service rise leading upward into the keep.
Redmark Keep¶
The party's Arc 2 destination: an old ruin near Brindleford connected to caravan attacks, missing supplies, gnoll violence, and disciplined Red Banner activity.
The party entered the keep through its forgotten Drainage Culvert, bypassed the guarded western gate, and defeated the Redmaw Tyrant at a damaged War Altar. They freed the red-gold gemstone fragment trapped there and escaped through an eastern drainage route as the command vault began to fail.
Waymark Crossing¶
A mine-dependent town built around the Farstep Works. When the party arrived, empty ore carts, injured travelers, hungry residents, and fleeing groups showed how badly the mine's failure had damaged the town.
Waymark was under attack by organized raiders marked with ash-white paint around one eye. The party saved the Lower Road, Supply Shed, and Mercy House, then pushed the raiders back toward the mine.
Waymark Supply Shed¶
A store of rope, lamps, oil, climbing equipment, and other tools needed by Farstep Works. Raiders were preparing oil, pitch, smoke, black powder, and demolition materials here until the party stopped them.
Mercy House¶
Waymark's house of healing, located on the road toward Farstep Works. The party drove raiders away from its back door and met Caldus Venn, one of the healers sheltering there.
Farstep Works¶
The crystal mine that supports Waymark Crossing. Its routes have begun shifting, looping, and leading miners somewhere other than expected. Elaris suspects the disturbance may be connected to movement and space.
The party entered through the cleared gate after the raiders collapsed the entrance braces during their retreat. In the Upper Works, the group marked its route with chalk, found the Survey Gallery stripped of useful supplies, and rescued three miners from an old work pocket. Deeper in, the party found a raider barracks and learned that prisoners are being held ahead.
Blue Seam Cut¶
A blue crystal cut in the Upper Works. The party recovered two bags of pale Blue-Seam Dust here, a material that helps keep a route clear and easier to follow.
Missing Shift Work Pocket¶
An older side-work pocket where the party found three missing miners alive. An Umber Hulk had trapped them there; the party defeated it, stabilized an injured miner, and sent the shift back toward Waymark along the party's marked route.
Split Lift¶
A ruined vertical lift chamber in the Upper Works. Raiders sabotaged the platform and collapsed the shaft. A frightened voice seemed to come from shifting locations around it, and the party recovered a self-repairing Rope of Mending from the wreckage.
Raider Barracks¶
A former storage and supply space repurposed as a raider staging ground. The party cleared it and found a map showing prisoners farther ahead, followed by a larger headquarters.
